PS3 Update 2.43 Download (Playstation 3 Firmware Update 2.43)
PS3 Firmware 2.43 is now available to download. A new firmware update for the Playstation 3 is now officially released. However, this upgrade may not be a big deal to PS3 owners who don't live in Japan because the Playstation 3 Update 2.43 is only for Japan owners. This means, if you live in other country, you will not be asked to download this new PS3 update 2.43.
You read it right. The PS3 2.43 firmware update will only be available to Japan PS3 console owners. The PS3 software update 2.43 is designed to improve Japan's PS Store and video rental services. If you are a non-Japanese PS3 owners, there is no need for you to perform the the PS3update 2.43. But if please so, you can manually upgrade your Sony Playstation 3 by accessing "System Update" from the XMB settings. But, if you already have PS3 2.41 version or PS3 2.42 Update, no change will be visible.
