Mario Kart Wii Unlockables: How To Unlock Hidden Characters
Here's a guide on how to unlock the hidden characters on the kart racing video game Mario Kart Wii. There are 12 total starting characters - Baby Mario, Baby Peach, Bowser, Luigi, Koopa, Mario, Peach, Donkey Kong, Toad, Waluigi, Wario, and Yoshi.
To unlock the 15 hidden characters, follow these steps:
1. To unlock Baby Daisy, during the 50cc Cups, accomplish at least a 1-star rank.
2. To unlock Baby Luigi, in Time Trials mode, unlock eight (8) Expert Staff Ghost Data by beating a regular staff ghost for 7 seconds.
3. To unlock Birdo, play Time Trials mode on 16 different courses.
4. To unlock Bowser Jr., during the 100cc Retro Grand Prix Cups, get a 1-star rank or better.
5. To unlock Daisy, win the 150cc Special Cup mode.
6. To unlock Diddy Kong, complete all 50cc Cups successfully.
7. To unlock Dry Bones, win the 100cc Leaf Cup.
8. To unlock Dry Bowser, win at least a 1-star rank for all 150cc Wii Cups.
9. To unlock Funky Kong, in Time Trials mode, unlock 4 Expert Staff Ghost Data.
10. To unlock King Boo, win the 50cc Star Cup.
11. To unlock Mii (Outfit A), win the 100cc Special Cup.
12. To unlock Mii (Outfit B), unlock the 32 Expert Staff Ghost Data during the Time Trials mode.
13. To unlock Mii (Outfit C), get at least 15,000 points in VS mode
14. To unlock Rosalina, win at least a 1-star rank in all Mirror Mode Wii-Cups. If you saved a game file from Super Mario Galaxy, win 50 Grand Prix.
15. To unlock Toadette, either play all 32 courses in Time Trials or win 1,000 Wi-Fi online matches.
