Playstation 3 Update 2.42 - PS3 Firmware Released!
Earlier today, Sony just released their latest firmware update - PS3 2.42 version. The download time is so slow - maybe because a lot of people around the world are updating or maybe my Internet connection is just slow. I heard some downloaded it fast.
According to the PlayStation blog, this update improves the playback quality of some PLAYSTATION 3 and PlayStation format software.
So far after the upgrade, I did not encounter any error or improvement yet. Perhaps this is just another "stability" or "security" update. In case you haven't updated your latest version yet, you may want to wait until tomorrow for any issue that the update may bring. But if you can't wait, do it at your won discretion. Just a thought.
